Covid19: 38 deaths across the state, 3202 new cases, 1293 in Bangalore city

A total of 3202 new Corona positive cases have been confirmed across the state. In the capital city Bangalore, 1293 cases were reported today Saturday and 21 in the Bangalore rural.

Similarly, the number of cases was 142 in Tumkur, 126 in Bellary, 197 in Mysore, 62 in Dakshina Kannada, 60 in Hassan, 42 in Mandya, 67 in Udupi, 155 in Shimoga, 250 in Belagavi, 43 in Kudaburugi, 91 in Chitradurga, 69 in Dharwad, 54 in Chikkaballage and 50 in Chikkaballage. A total of 32 cases were reported in Kolar, 62 in Chamarajanagar, 99 in Kodagu, 23 in Bidar, 18 in Koppal, 20 in Ramanagar and 62 in Uttara Kannada.

This increased the total number of infected persons in the state to 39,24,297. In the past 24 hours, 38 people with Covid infections have died, according to the Department of Health and Family Welfare.

Of the 89 cases of Covid-19 recovery in the state, 3833 people in Bangalore city have been healed from Covid-19 and 8988 infected persons have been discharged from the state.

Of the 38 deaths reported statewide in the past 24 hours, 10 deaths have occurred in Bangalore city and 39,613 total Covid deaths statewide.
